Ollie Nutt, former CEO of the Monterey Peninsula Foundation, former Future Citizens Foundation founding Board Member and Board Member Emeritus, co-founder of First Tee – Monterey County and great friend of us all, passed away on Tuesday, June 22, 2021 after a year-long battle against cancer.
Ollie was instrumental in the formation and direction of the chapter. Both he and John Zoller worked relentlessly to establish the chapter, as they knew how much the youth of Monterey County needed opportunities for a better future.
Last year, we created a named scholarship for Ollie called the Ollie Nutt Reserve Champion Award for $5,000. We will be renaming this award to the Ollie Nutt Memorial Scholarship, and hopefully increasing the award amount too.
Ollie was the embodiment of our values, he put family and friends before himself, and we have lost a great man indeed.

|In loving memory of my friend, mentor and sales leader Ollie Nutt. The most compassionate leader I have worked for in my 34 year sales career. I learned a lot about sales leadership from Ollie and to this day lean on the ethics, passion and fun he made selling at Amdahl a reality. (6.25.21)|
