Re: Golf Course Status
Unlike most golf courses, Twin Creeks Golf Course is operated by Future Citizens Foundation, a California 501c3 nonprofit organization, for the main purpose of running its youth development programs: First Tee Monterey County and Taylor Farms Center For Learning. It also provides tee times to the general public to play golf at its 9-hole facility.
Due to the recent pandemic and restrictions placed upon its programs and staff, Future Citizens Board of Directors made a decision to ensure the safety of its staff, participants and patrons and closed all operations effective March 13th, 2020.
Despite golf courses being given the opportunity to reopen by State and local health officials, the Board of Directors have chosen to not reopen Twin Creeks Golf Course. The current health risk to young people, staff, and golf course patrons is considered too great at this time.
Future Citizens Foundation will reopen the facility and programming when the Board considers it safe to do so. We apologize for any disappointment that this decision may cause, but the safety and well–being of the community is the Boards top priority.
Please keep me informed once summer 2020 programs will open or not.
I am interested in the future citizens Foundation summer camp week 8 for my son.
Thank you for your comment, week 1 & 2 have been canceled. Please fill out this RSVP form for summer camp to ensure your spot for our weeks. We will be sending all parents, who filled this out, a registration form once it is published by our registration team:https://thefirstteemc.formstack.com/forms/2020_summer_camp_preregistration.
Will the course be open to public next week as well?
